DUE TO GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN DELAYS, KODO IS CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING A 4 WEEK PROCESSING TIME.

a new collaboration!

Kodo has been hard at work with our long time friend and co-author of the Loose Parts books, Miriam Beloglovsky, to curate new, exclusive loose parts collections. These open-ended materials complement the books and can be used in classrooms, family child care programs, and home school environments to foster inquiry and engagement.

“Loose Parts are more than ordinary objects; they are unexpected discoveries that stimulate children’s curiosity and give reign to their imagination. The combination of the Loose Parts: Inspiring Play series of books and the unexpected discoveries offered by the loose parts sold at Kodo will give children and adults hours of joyful play.”

ABOUT THE COLLABORATION

Miriam Beloglovsky and Kodo Kids have one unique interest in common, our passion for curating Loose Parts kits that enhance learning. Miriam has been working closely with the Kodo design team to curate four new loose parts collections, full of open-ended materials that can be used in the classroom, family child care programs, and home school environments! Learn all about loose parts materials and how to use them with the Loose Parts books co authored by Miriam and Lisa Daly.

Along with our product collaboration, Miriam and Diane Spahn, Director of Education with Kodo Kids, will be holding a webinar on January 27th! Titled “Intentionality and Loose Parts: Provoking Children’s Inquiry,” they will guide you on how to apply educational and design knowledge when curating loose parts to maximize children’s learning.
