We're seeking Play Ambassadors, who will represent Kodo at conferences, events, and in early learning environments—helping educators experience the power of open-ended play through hands-on engagement with Kodo materials.
The Kodo Play Ambassador Program brings passionate early childhood professionals together to champion play-based learning in communities across the country.
Who Can Be a Kodo Play Ambassador?
Kodo Play Ambassadors are trusted voices in early childhood education. They don’t just talk about play; they make it visible, meaningful, and accessible.
This program is a great fit for:
- Professional Development Trainers
- Early Childhood Consultants
- Professors or Instructors in Early Childhood Education
- Teachers or Program Leaders passionate about open-ended, play-based learning
Who Meet the Following Criteria:
- Have classroom experience in a play-based setting
- Have strong experience in hosting dynamic and engaging presentations and trainings for teachers, directors, play advocates, etc.
- Have a strong understanding of play-based learning, constructivist approaches, and are familiar with Reggio/Montessori philosophies
- Are familiar with standards and assessments such as CLASS, ASQ, ECERS, etc.
- Have excellent communication and networking skills
- Are committed to Kodo’s mission and philosophy
- Are abie to travel to regional events
Ways to Get Involved
Workshop Play Ambassadors
Deliver hands-on, play-based workshops (in person or virtual) that help educators explore and implement Kodo materials.
Educational Presenters
Integrate Kodo materials into your own independent trainings as a complementary play resource.
Conference & Event Ambassadors
Represent Kodo at conferences by engaging educators, sharing our mission, and generating meaningful connections.
