Learning Beautiful creates accessible, unplugged educational materials for young children to playfully explore computational thinking. These tactile materials are designed for children ages 3-9 to learn concepts such as patterning, decomposition, representation, and abstraction. Designed at the MIT Media Lab, in close collaboration with computer scientists and early childhood experts, Learning Beautiful materials are simple, beautiful building blocks for children to discover fundamental ideas behind how computers work—without using computers.
