Flight Lab
SKU: 102050
Description
The Flight Lab is a cool wind tunnel designed to tug at children’s imaginations while teaching them about flight, air currents, and the forces of nature. Handmade from beautiful Baltic Birch, this structure not only looks great but also serves as an educational centerpiece in libraries and small museums. Standing 68 inches tall and 56 inches long, it’s perfectly sized for preschool and school-age children to explore.
Children can dive into the fundamentals of STEM as they experiment with various objects in the tunnel. With two convenient storage bowls on either side, you can easily provide items like parachute men, tissue paper, and homemade flyers for their experiments. The powerful fan included with the Flight Lab creates an exciting environment for hands-on investigation, helping kids understand concepts like air resistance and gravity.
You can use these learning materials to encourage creativity by challenging children to create their own flying objects using everyday materials like toilet tissue tubes, juice boxes, or paper plates. By experimenting with different designs, including fins and folds, they’ll learn firsthand how to create the perfect shape that will take flight. A must-have if you need classroom teaching materials that make boring Physics concepts fun for the little ones!
Our Flight Labs are typically made to order and can take 4 to 6 weeks from your order date to arrive.
